On September 27th, 2017, just one week after Jason Gouldon’s second arrest on charges of child molestation, a local Scotts Valley, CA office for the Modern Woodmen of America presented Mr. Gouldon with a plaque welcoming him to the financial insurance fraternity as an Insurance Counselor.

The news was shared on the organization’s public website, modern-woodmen.org, on the profile page for Stephen Hoversten, the managing partner of the local Scotts Valley branch for Modern Woodmen of America.

Local families in the Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley areas, especially those with children, may consider exercising caution in dealing with the business. The office location is also within a close proximity of Scotts Valley Middle School.

Although citizens should always be presumed innocent until proven otherwise, in cases like this it is the author’s opinion that you can’t be too careful.
